Shipping Policy

At Moon Peak, owned and operated by SRM Foods & Spices, we aim to deliver your order as quickly and safely as possible. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms mentioned below.

1. Order Processing Time

  • Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–3 working days.

  • During high-demand seasons, festivals, or operational surges, processing may take longer. You will receive an automated email/SMS notification once your order is handed over to our courier partner.

2. Shipping & Delivery Timeline

  • After dispatch, delivery usually takes 3–7 working days, depending on your location.

  • Remote areas may require additional time. Please note that all delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed.

3. Courier Partners & Liability

  • We partner with reputed third-party courier services (e.g., DTDC) for nationwide coverage.

  • Once the package is dispatched, Moon Peak (SRM Foods & Spices) is not liable for delays caused by the courier. Delays resulting from weather (snow/rain/fog), political strikes, curfews, natural disasters, or operational courier failures are beyond our control. We will, however, fully assist you in tracking and resolving transit issues.

4. Shipping Charges

  • Shipping charges vary based on order value, product weight, and destination. All applicable charges are transparently displayed at checkout before final payment.

5. Incorrect Address & Failed Delivery

  • If a customer provides an incorrect/incomplete address, or is unavailable to receive the shipment after multiple attempts, the courier will initiate a Return to Origin (RTO).

  • For 100% Prepaid Orders: We will issue a refund only after the package is physically returned to our facility, deducting:

    • Forward shipping charges incurred.

    • Return shipping (RTO) charges incurred.

  • For Partial COD Orders: The ₹160 advance payment is non-refundable and will be forfeited to cover the forward shipping and the RTO penalty charged by the courier.

6. Lost or Undelivered Packages

  • If a shipment is marked as “Delivered” but not received, you must notify us within 24 hours. We will immediately initiate an official investigation and POD (Proof of Delivery) dispute with the courier.

  • If the courier investigation confirms the package was lost or misplaced in transit prior to delivery, we will issue a full replacement or refund. SRM Foods & Spices is not liable for theft occurring after a courier has verified delivery to the provided address.

7. Damaged Packages

  • If your package arrives visibly damaged, you must record a full, unedited unboxing video and take clear photos. Damage claims must be raised within 48 hours of delivery. Without this proof, we are unable to process any claims. Please refer to our Return and Refund Policy for further details.

8. Order Tracking

  • A tracking number will be provided upon dispatch. It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor the tracking status and contact the courier if a delivery attempt is missed.

9. Return to Origin (RTO) Summary

An order will be returned to us (RTO) if:

  • The customer is unavailable at the provided address.

  • The customer refuses the parcel at the doorstep.

  • The shipping address is incorrect or incomplete.

  • Financial Impact:

    • Prepaid Orders: Refund processed after product arrival, minus all shipping/RTO costs.

    • Partial COD Orders: The ₹160 advance is forfeited to cover the logistics penalties associated with the refused shipment.
